The Soul of Morocco

An Artisan Journey through

Marrakech, Zagora and the Sahara

November 30st to December 8th

This experience has been carefully created for those who wish to discover Morocco through its people, its ancient crafts, and the landscapes that have shaped this beautiful culture.

From the vibrant streets of Marrakech to the endless silence of the Sahara, we will travel slowly, meeting artisans who continue to preserve traditions passed down through generations.

Throughout our journey, we will explore the richness of Moroccan craftsmanship through hands-on workshops in traditional wood painting, green pottery, Amazigh culture and Tuareg jewellery.

We will cross the Atlas Mountains, wander through ancient kasbahs and palm groves, and spend a night beneath the immense desert sky.

This journey is open to everyone who feels drawn to beauty, craftsmanship, culture and meaningful travel.

It is an invitation to slow down, create with your hands, and experience Morocco through genuine human connection.

About Zagora & the Sahara

Zagora is a small oasis town on the edge of the Sahara Desert, where ancient caravan routes once connected Morocco to the great cities of West Africa.

Surrounded by vast palm groves, kasbahs and endless desert landscapes, it is a place where Amazigh, Arab and Tuareg cultures have met for centuries.

Here, craftsmanship is more than an art form. It is a living heritage, passed down through generations through skilled hands and everyday life.

Wood painting, pottery, jewellery and textiles continue to be practised using techniques that have changed very little over time.

Working alongside local artisans is an opportunity to connect directly with ancestral knowledge, natural materials, and a culture that continues to honour beauty, patience, and craftsmanship.

Travelling through this region means stepping into a slower rhythm, where hospitality is generous, creativity is woven into daily life, and the silence of the desert offers space for transformation.

Unforgettable Nights at

ZAMANE FESTIVAL

During our stay in the Sahara, we will have the privilege of experiencing ZAMANE Festival.

An extraordinary celebration of music, culture, and community in the heart of the Moroccan desert.

Our days will be spent embracing the silence, vastness, and timeless beauty of the Sahara. Then, as night falls, the desert comes alive with music beneath a sky full of stars, where local traditions meet artists and travellers from around the world.

We couldn't be happier about this!

ACCOMODATION

Throughout the journey, we will stay in a carefully curated collection of beautiful riads, boutique kasbahs, and an unforgettable desert camp. Each place has been chosen not simply for its comfort, but because it embodies the spirit of the region and allows us to experience Morocco from within.

In Marrakech, we'll stay in simple and elegant traditional riads hidden behind ancient walls, where peaceful courtyards, carved cedar wood, hand-painted tiles, and lush gardens create an oasis in the heart of the vibrant medina. Places where beauty, craftsmanship, and hospitality are part of everyday life.

In Zagora, our accommodation reflects the quieter rhythm of the south. Surrounded by palm groves and desert landscapes, we'll experience the warm simplicity of traditional kasbah architecture, built with earth and natural materials that have kept these homes cool and welcoming for centuries.

In the Sahara, we'll spend the night in a beautifully desert camp. Spacious tents, comfortable beds, thoughtful details, and candlelit evenings beneath an immense sky offer a rare combination of comfort and wildness.

Falling asleep in the silence of the dunes and waking with the sunrise over the desert is an experience few ever forget.

Throughout the journey, you'll enjoy the comfort, elegance, and unmistakable warmth of Morocco's traditional architecture. Earth-coloured walls, handcrafted textiles, intricate mosaics, lantern light, fragrant courtyards, and the generous hospitality for which the country is known make every place feel intimate, beautiful, and deeply memorable.

They are places with soul, carefully chosen to become part of the journey itself.
